Low Cost Space Transportation
With Spaceship One, it was proved that an independent private sector company could develop space transportation on a short time line, at an affordable cost. However the development was based on earlier NASA research. NASA is necessary for private sector progress in space transportation. Independent researchers are doing some Breakthrough Propulsion Physics research. NASA could serve as a clearinghouse to unite all advancement in this area.
